Attic insulation works by laying a thick layer of insulating material across your attic floor, preventing warm air from rising up through your ceilings and escaping through the roof. It's one of the most straightforward and impactful home improvements available — most jobs are completed in 1-3 days, with very little disruption to your home, and the savings on your heating bills start immediately. We use premium glass wool or loose-fill insulation materials depending on your attic type, installed to the latest Irish building standards.

How it Works

Survey & Assessment
We inspect your attic to assess its current insulation levels, any existing damage, and which product will perform best for your property.

Preparation
We insulate and protect the attic hatch area, lay down boards for safe movement, and check for any ventilation or moisture issues that need addressing first.

Installation
We install your chosen insulation — either glass wool rolls or blown loose-fill cellulose — to the recommended depth of 300mm (or higher for maximum performance).

Inspection & Completion
We walk you through the finished job, tidy up completely, and provide all documentation needed for your SEAI grant claim.

Most attic insulation jobs are completed within 1-3 days. Larger or more complex attics may take slightly longer, but we'll always give you a realistic time estimate before we start.
Very little. We access the attic through your existing hatch, and all work is done above ceiling level. Most customers barely notice we're there.
